On behalf of our clinical and administrative staff, I would like to
say thank you to Autopia for being part of our office.
As you know, Rideau Dental Centre is one of the largest dental
offices in Canada comprised of six general dentists, seven hygienists, two
specialists, and with a support and administrative staff of twenty-three people.
Our passion is to provide our patients with the very best of care.In
order to do so, we must acquire excellence clinically as well as
administratively.
Rideau Dental Centre has been computerized for the past eleven years.
The past six months have been spent searching, studying, reading and testing all
of the software packages with the potential to compliment our office. All of our
team members were involved in the selection. We unanimously agreed that Autopia
offered the package that best suited our needs.
We were attracted to Autopia software because it was so intuitive
that it seemed to anticipate all of our needs. From its ability to network with
digital x-rays and intra-oral cameras, to its financial package, report
generator and appointment scheduler, it is second to none.
Converting a fifteen year old dental practice with a patient load of
twenty-six thousand, retaining patient history, insurance data and all of the
notes so significant in patient communication was a great concern to us. Your
team of experts managed to perform this task professionally and efficiently and
with a minimum disruption to the operation of our practice.
Training and support provided by the Autopia team has made the
conversion from a UNIX based software system to a windows environment an
entertaining as well as educational experience. This contributed to a reduction
in the anxiety experienced by our staff as they were called upon to learn a new
system "on the fly".
Perhaps the aspect of our relationship that I appreciated the most
was your willingness to listen to our concerns and modify your own excellent
software in a manner that best suited the specific administrative and clinical
relationships within our own office. We were never made to feel that we would
have to change our method of operation to adhere to a rigid and inflexible
program design.
I have been extremely pleased and satisfied with the software package
you provided. More importantly, I have been impressed with the people I have had
the pleasure of working with. These relationships have always been of utmost
importance to me throughout my professional career of 35 years. Based upon this
experience, I would not hesitate to recommend your software or your services to
other dental practices.
